What VELA Tianyar is not
Said plainly, so that nobody books on a wrong picture.
- No sea view from the lodgesThe canvas lodges sit in the garden behind Saga. The view over the water belongs to Saga, the pool and the garden, not to a lodge.
- A pebble shore, not a sand beachThe shore is pebbles, and a working one: the fishing boats land here most mornings. It is not the soft sand of the south.
- No spa, gym or kids' clubThere is a pool, a sundeck, the garden and Saga. A massage with a local therapist can be requested through the concierge.
- No dive centre of our ownTulamben and the USAT Liberty wreck are close by. The concierge puts you with a local operator.
